MBBC is located in the central Morioka, near Iwate University. We want to provide a spiritual family for you，and help you in any way we can in your personal walk with God. We think that God's Kingdom is filled with all kinds of people. Our church is filled with the young and the old, people of diverse backgrounds.
Since the 3/11 Earthquake and Tsunami our church has been partnering with other churches, missionaries and Christian workers as part of the 3.11 Iwate Church Network. Consequently our Sunday gathering often includes visitors and missionaries from Singapore, the US, the UK, the Philipines and other parts of the world. We offer English transation of the Sermon for visitors as needed.

3.11 was a day that we will never forget.
3.11は私たちにとって決して忘れられない日となりました。内陸の教会もいくらかの被害はありましたが、沿岸にある主の教会は地震と津波の大打撃を受けており、今なお多くの兄弟姉妹たち、そして地域の方々が喪失と困難のなかに置かれています。このような状況に対して、私たちは、教団諸派を超え、支援する教会・団体と支援を受ける教会とが情報を共有し、「3.11いわて教会ネットワーク」を立ち上げました。
On the second Sunday of the month, at 1:30pm we have a monthly English Bible Study for native English speakers and those interested in practicing English. Currently we are looking at the theme of Unity through the book of Ephesisians. The study is led by David Robison, one of our church's partnering missionaries.

Meeting the third Friday of each month, from 7-9PM.
We host a monthly English Cafe, led by native English speakers who attend our church, and international short term volunteers. People of all English levels are welcome to come and learn English, and to practice conversational English with native speakers. We also have coffee, tea and home made desserts, and play games. Each evening also features a short Bible time with encouraging testimonies and lessons from the Bible.
